What is Banner PTO?

The Banner Parent Teacher Organization is an independent team of volunteers who work together to enrich the learning experience for all students and staff at our school. We provide support services for teachers, plan community events, and help fund curriculum enhancements not covered by the school budget. As a registered non-profit group, we rely on an army of volunteers to reach our goals every year. So, whether you can volunteer your time, money, ideas, or a special talent, we would love to have you on our team! If you would like to get involved in the PTO please contact our President, Jennie Smith, at [email protected] to learn more about ways that you can get involved/help with Banner PTO and about upcoming meetings, projects, and events.

Easy ways you can support the Banner PTO every day:

  • Check out the PTO page on the Banner Website for more information and important dates.
  • Like and follow our Facebook page (Banner Elementary PTO) for news and updates.
  •  Attend a monthly PTO Meeting which is the 3rd Tuesday of every month to share ideas. Meeting Dates for this school year are: 8/19, 9/16, 10/21, 11/18, 1/20, 2/17, 3/17, 4/21, 5/19. Meetings are usually virtual and at 6:30 P.M. The links will be published in the school newsletter and a schoolwide email will come out for more information about the virtual meeting each month. All are welcome to attend the virtual meetings whether you’re a member or not. 😊Also, you don’t have to attend every meeting to be a part of PTO. You can even attend on the go/from your child’s activities if needed since the meetings are virtual!
  • Look out for sign up geniuses and e-mails from PTO for volunteers, food donations, help as needed throughout the year for upcoming activities and events, etc.

Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any further questions about getting involved with PTO!
